Insofern dient es niemandem, die Kommission mit allen möglichen Vorwürfen zu überziehen, wie der italienische Premierminister das in den letzten Monaten gemacht hat; wie die polnische Regierung das tut; wie der finnische Außenminister es tut, indem er sagt, die Kommission dürfe sich nicht um die Wahrung der Grundrechte in Polen kümmern, dies wäre keine europäische Aufgabe, sondern eine rein polnische Aufgabe - obwohl der Vertragstext deutlich die Kommission dazu einlädt, darauf zu achten.
