The EESC sees a need for the education provided for this industry not only to be recognised across the EU but also to be of a high level to truly build professionals in the industry, in line with European Commission and Cedefop guidelines, with particular emphasis on learning outcomes and accreditation, as well as upgrading of tourism studies at university level where feasible.
Der EWSA ist der Auffassung, dass die Ausbildung für diese Branche nicht nur EU-weit anerkannt sein, sondern auch auf hohem Niveau erfolgen muss, um qualifizierte Fachkräfte für die Branche heranzuziehen, und zwar entsprechend den Leitlinien der Europäischen Kommission und des Cedefop und mit besonderem Schwerpunkt auf dem Lernergebnis und der entsprechenden Bescheinigung, aber auch der Aufwertung der Tourismusausbildungsgänge an Hochschulen, soweit vorhanden.
