IN-CONTEXT TRANSLATIONS

With this amendment, Directive 2006/42/EC will no longer apply to tractors type-approved on the basis of the type-approval legislation for wheeled agricultural and forestry tractors, since with the implementation of this amending Directive the risks covered by Directive 2003/37/EC will comprise all risks covered by Directive 2006/42/EC.

Mit dieser Änderung gilt die Richtlinie 2006/42/EG nicht mehr für Zugmaschinen, für die nach Maßgabe der solchermaßen geänderten Rechtsvorschriften über die Typgenehmigung für land- oder forstwirtschaftliche Zugmaschinen auf Rädern eine Typgenehmigung erteilt worden ist, da infolge der Umsetzung dieser Änderungsrichtlinie die Richtlinie 2003/37/EG sämtliche Gefährdungen abdeckt, die von der Richtlinie 2006/42/EG abgedeckt werden.

The proposal is a follow-up to Directive 97/68/EC, which applies to off-road mobile machinery, where it is stated that emissions-control legislation on agricultural and forestry tractors with requirements analogous to those laid down for off-road mobile machinery should be introduced so as to ensure an equivalent level of environmental protection.
