All projects financed under the 2007 and 2008 annual programmes in Denmark aim at supporting the actions for the establishment of IT systems required for the implementation of the Community legal instruments in the field of external borders and visas such as: establishment of a new operational centre at the Ministry of Refugee, Immigration and Integration Affairs and a new visa processing system aiming at improving the management of visa and in particular at ensuring that the national visa information system (NVIS) is an adequate interface for the central Visa Information System (VIS).
