The contestants, with ages ranging from 14 to 21, and representing 39 countries across Europe - as well as Brazil, Canada, China, Mexico, New Zealand and the USA - presented 86 winning projects from national competitions covering a wide range of scientific disciplines from engineering and earth sciences to biology, mathematics, chemistry, physics, medicine, computer and social sciences.
Die Teilnehmer im Alter zwischen 14 und 21 Jahren aus 39 Ländern aus ganz Europa sowie Brasilien, Kanada, China, Mexiko, Neuseeland und den USA stellten 86 Projekte vor, die bereits bei nationalen Wettbewerben erfolgreich waren und ein breites Spektrum wissenschaftlicher Fachbereiche abdecken, von Ingenieurwesen und Geowissenschaften über Biologie, Mathematik, Chemie, Physik und Medizin bis hin zu Computer- und Sozialwissenschaften.
