For example, at the same time as it glosses over the US Administration’s initiatives and profound responsibilities in promoting a new escalation in the militarisation of Europe – with the support of NATO members, it should be noted – it considers that the ‘declarations made by the Russian authorities’ and the ‘[...] inappropriate threat to pull out of the Treaty on Conventional Forces in Europe have raised serious concerns about the preservation of peace and stability on the European continent’.
Während z. B. die Initiativen und die tief greifende Verantwortung der US-Administration bei der Förderung einer neu eskalierenden Militarisierung Europas – mit Unterstützung der NATO-Mitgliedstaaten, das gilt es festzuhalten – beschönigt werden, wird festgestellt, dass die „Erklärungen der russischen Regierung“ und die „unangebrachte Drohung, aus dem Abkommen über konventionelle Streitkräfte in Europa auszuscheren, erhebliche Sorgen um die Erhaltung von Frieden und Stabilität auf dem europäischen Kontinent haben aufkommen lassen“.
