In general, in the case of the group ‘natural products’, whole plants, animals and other organisms and parts of these or products thereof resulting from very limited processing such as crushing, grinding or drying (e.g. many herbs and spices), shall not be considered as falling under this functional group flavourings of the category sensory additives.
Im Allgemeinen werden, im Fall der Gruppe „natürliche Produkte“, Ganzpflanzen, Tiere und andere Organismen, deren Bestandteile oder Erzeugnisse daraus, die daraus mittels einfacher Behandlung wie Zerkleinern, Mahlen oder Trocknen gewonnen werden (z. B. viele Kräuter und Gewürze), nicht als unter die Funktionsgruppe „Aromastoffe“ der Kategorie „sensorische Zusatzstoffe“ fallend, betrachtet.
