I must conclude, however, and so I will finish by saying that this resolution exposes a problem that it is worth examining in more depth, in other words, the problem that we have already highlighted many times of the relationship between the Courts. I believe we must reflect a little more upon this problem but, above all, on the problem of the European spirit: we are the European Union and, as stated in Article 2 of the Treaty of Lisbon, we are founded on human dignity and human rights – and equality is founded on human dignity.
Ich muss allerdings den Schluss ziehen, und ich werde damit abschließen, dass ich sage, dass diese Entschließung ein Problem aufzeigt, das es wert ist, eingehend untersucht zu werden, nämlich das Problem, dass wir schon oft hervorgehoben haben, das im Verhältnis zwischen den Gerichtshöfen begründet ist. Ich glaube, wir müssen ein bisschen mehr über dieses Problem nachdenken, aber vor allem über das Problem des Europäischen Geistes: Wir sind die Europäische Union und, wie es im Artikel 2 des Vertrags von Lissabon steht, gründen wir uns auf Menschenwürde und Menschenrechte, und Gleichheit gründet sich auf Menschenwürde.
