(k) ensure the containment of all hazardous materials present on board of a ship during the recycling process so as to prevent any release of these hazardous materials into the environment and in particular in intertidal zones, notably by cutting the bottom part in a permanent or floating dry dock;
(k) sie gewährleistet, dass alle Gefahrstoffe, die sich während des Abwrackprozesses an Bord eines Schiffes befinden, zurückgehalten werden, um jegliche Freisetzung dieser Gefahrstoffe in die Umwelt und insbesondere in Gezeitenzonen zu verhindern, und zwar vor allem durch die Abtrennung des unteren Schiffsteils in einem festen Trockendock oder einem Schwimmdock ;
