The Council invited the EFC and the EPC to finalise their contributions in the light of today's discussions in order to allow the Council to pronounce itself, at its session of 5 June, on the draft BEPG 2000 according to Article 99 of the Treaty and its annexed Declaration No. 3. In this exercise, they should also take into account possible contributions of other Council formations as well as, if forwarded in time, a Parliament initiative resolution.
Der Rat ersuchte den Wirtschafts- und Finanzausschuß und den Ausschuß für Wirtschaftspolitik, ihre Beiträge unter Berücksichtigung der Beratungen dieses Tages zu überarbeiten, damit der Rat auf seiner Tagung am 5. Juni gemäß Artikel 99 des Vertrags sowie der ihm beigefügten Erklärung Nr. 3 zu den Grundzügen der Wirtschaftspolitik Stellung nehmen kann. Hierbei sollten die beiden Ausschüsse auch etwaige Beiträge anderer Ratsformationen und einer Initiativentschließung des Parlaments Rechnung tragen, sofern diese rechtzeitig übermittelt wird.
