Stresses the important role that sustainable agriculture and forestry sectors can play in spurring growth, providing jobs and improving environmental standards; calls on the Commission to simplify the implementation of the CAP and to cut red tape in order to increase its efficiency, alleviate the administrative burden on agricultural entrepreneurs and make room for innovations that are indispensable for a forward-looking, competitive European agriculture sector that produces more with less inputs;
70. ist der Auffassung, dass eine nachhaltige Land- und Forstwirtschaft bei der Ankurbelung des Wachstums, der Schaffung von Arbeitsplätzen und der Verbesserung der Umweltstandards eine wichtige Rolle spielen kann; fordert die Kommission auf, die Umsetzung der GAP zu vereinfachen und Bürokratie abzubauen, damit die GAP effizienter, der Verwaltungsaufwand für die Landwirte verringert und Raum für Innovationen geschaffen wird, die für einen vorausschauenden, wettbewerbsfähigen europäischen Agrarsektor, der „mit weniger mehr" produziert, unverzichtbar sind;
