I hope that my government, the Government of Spain, will not hinder the creation of a committee of enquiry in the Spanish Parliament, amongst other things in order to investigate the direct flights between the US bases of Rota, Morón and Torrejón and Guantánamo, and the possible involvement of Spanish police officials in interrogations in Guantánamo during the time of Mr Aznar's government.
Ich hoffe, dass meine Regierung – die Regierung Spaniens – die Einrichtung eines Untersuchungsausschusses im spanischen Parlament nicht behindert, um unter anderem die Direktflüge zwischen den US-Stützpunkten Rota, Morón und Torrejón und Guantánamo sowie die eventuelle Beteiligung von spanischen Polizeibeamten an Verhören in Guantánamo während Herrn Aznars Amtszeit zu untersuchen.
