As the Enlarged Committee reports to the Eurocontrol Provisional Council, thus the EU Member States, the proposed transfer of the review of EU Member States' forecasts of traffic and unit rates to the Performance Review Body would be more logical in the context of the Performance Scheme and consistent with the Commission's proposed role as European Economic Regulator for ATM.
Da der erweiterte Ausschuss dem provisorischen Eurocontrol-Rat, d. h. den Mitgliedstaaten, Bericht erstattet, wäre diese vorgeschlagene Übertragung der Überprüfung der Verkehrs- und Streckengebührenprognosen der Mitgliedstaaten auf das Leistungsüberprüfungsgremium im Rahmen des Leistungssystems logischer und stünde außerdem im Einklang mit der vorgeschlagenen Rolle der Europäischen Kommission als europäische wirtschaftliche Regulierungsstelle für das ATM-System.
