The best known social standard is perhaps SA8000, initiated by Social Accountability International (SAI) in 1997 [11]. Assurances that extend into broader issues, including both social and environmental criteria, are for example Utz certified and the Rainforest Alliance (RA).
Am bekanntesten ist wohl die Norm SA8000, die 1997 von der SAI ( Social Accountability International – internationale Organisation von Interessengruppen, die sozial vertretbare Normen erstellt) initiiert wurde und Sozialstandards enthält.[11] Umfassendere Zertifizierungen mit Sozial- und Umweltkriterien sind beispielsweise UTZ CERTIFIED und Rainforest Alliance (RA).
