The social dialogue at European level has produced a number of important initiatives. These include the joint declaration of the European social partners to the European Council in Laeken underlining the need to further develop the autonomous social dialogue, the planned submission of a multi-annual social partner work programme and the social partners' framework for action on skills and competencies development, which was submitted to the Barcelona Summit.
Der soziale Dialog auf europäischer Ebene hat eine Reihe wichtiger Initiativen hervorgebracht: unter anderem eine gemeinsame Erklärung der europäischen Sozialpartner für die Tagung des Europäischen Rates in Laeken, in der auf die Notwendigkeit hingewiesen wurde, den autonomen sozialen Dialog weiterzuentwickeln, die geplante Ausarbeitung eines mehrjährigen Arbeitsprogramms der Sozialpartner und das Aktionsprogramm der Sozialpartner zur Qualifikations- und Kompetenzentwicklung, das zum Gipfel in Barcelona vorgelegt wurde.
