Draws attention to the fact that, in the phytosanitary area, the relevant provisions of the acquis still have to be incorporated and points out that the ability to deal with new phytosanitary aspects still has to be developed; welcomes the fact, however, that a plant health monitoring programme has been submitted and a number of testing standards brought into line with EU requirements; points out that arrangements for the disposal of waste material from slaughtered animals are not yet in line with the acquis communautaire;
5. macht darauf aufmerksam, dass auf dem Gebiet der Pflanzengesundheit noch die einschlägigen Bestimmungen des Besitzstandes übernommen werden müssen und verweist darauf, dass die Fähigkeit zum Umgang mit neuen Aspekten der Pflanzengesundheit noch entwickelt werden muss, begrüßt dagegen, dass ein Programm zur Überwachung der Tiergesundheit vorgelegt und einige Prüfnormen den EU-Anforderungen angepasst wurden; verweist darauf, dass die Entsorgung von Schlachtabfällen noch nicht mit dem gemeinschaftlichen Besitzstand in Einklang steht;
