To my mind, we have three main vectors and three main ideas: the development of the process of concentration on a European scale, the lifting of national restrictions through the implementation of the principle of unbundling activities; I see the second principle as the enhancement of the process of centralisation by establishing a European Agency, with the aim of achieving better coordination with national regulators, which is very good, and most of us are in favour of this.
Meines Erachtens haben wir drei Hauptrichtungen und drei Grundgedanken: die Entwicklung des Prozesses der Konzentration im europäischen Maßstab, die Aufhebung der nationalen Beschränkungen mittels Anwendung des Grundsatzes der Entflechtung der Tätigkeiten; ich sehe den zweiten Grundsatz als Verbesserung des Prozesses der Zentralisierung durch die Errichtung einer Europäischen Agentur mit dem Ziel, die Koordinierung mit den nationalen Regulierungsbehörden zu verbessern, was sehr gut ist; die meisten von uns sind dafür.
