On 17 December 2015, the United Nations Security Council adopted Resolution (UNSCR) 2253 (2015) recalling that the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIL, also known as Da'esh) is a splinter group of Al-Qaida and that any individual, group, undertaking or entity supporting ISIL (Da'esh) or Al-Qaida is eligible for listing by the United Nations.
Am 17. Dezember 2015 hat der Sicherheitsrat der Vereinten Nationen die Resolution (UNSCR) 2253 (2015) angenommen, in der er darauf hinweist, dass der Islamische Staat in Irak und der Levante (ISIL, auch bekannt als Da'esh) eine Splittergruppe von Al-Qaida ist und dass alle Personen, Gruppen, Unternehmen und Einrichtungen, die ISIL (Da'esh) oder Al-Qaida unterstützen, für die Aufnahme in die Sanktionsliste in Betracht kommen.
