6.3. Jeder im seuchenfreien Gebiet auftretende Todesfall bei Equiden, der vermutlich auf eine Infektionskrankheit zurückzuführen sind, sowie jeder Todesfall bei einem identifizierten Sentinelpferd wird durch amtliche Obduktion geklärt, deren Befunde durch anerkannte Diagnoseverfahren zu bestätigen und der Kommission mitzuteilen sind.
6.3. All cases of equine mortality within the free area suspected to be due to an infectious disease and any mortality of an identified sentinel horse, are examined by means of official necropsies and the results confirmed by acceptable diagnostic procedures and communicated to the Commission.
