Die Gemeinschaftsmaßnahmen werden verschiedene Energieformen (Umwandlung von Biomasse, photovoltaische Elektrizitätserzeugung, geothermische Energie, eine neue Generation von Windkraftanlagen usw.) behandeln und - am Rande der eigentlichen Forschung - auch deren Einfluß auf Wirtschaft und Gesellschaft (Auswirkungen auf Regionen und Städte sowie auf Landwirtschaft, Industrie und Verteilnetze usw.) untersuchen.
Community activities will cover various forms of energy (biomass conversion, photovoltaic electricity, geothermal energy, the new generation of windmills, etc.), and will also address, in addition to the research aspects, the impact on the social and economic fabric (consequences for regions and towns and cities, agriculture, industry, distribution networks, etc.).
