66. wiederholt seine Forderung aus seiner Entschließung vom 27. Oktober 2011 zu dem Thema „Antimikrobielle Resistenz als Gefahr für die öffentliche Gesundheit“ nach einer stufenweisen Abschaffung der prophylaktischen Verwendung von Antibiotika in der Viehzucht und betont, dass es in der Viehhaltung und der Intensivfischzucht vor allem darum gehen sollte, Krankheiten durch eine gute Hygiene, Unterbringung und Haltungspraxis sowie durch strenge Biosicherheitsvorkehrungen zu vermeiden, statt prophylaktisch Antibiotika einzusetzen;

Repeats its call made in its resolution of 27 October 2011 on the public health threat of antimicrobial resistance for a phase-out of the prophylactic use of antibiotics in livestock farming, stressing that the livestock and intensive fish-farming sectors should focus on preventing disease through good hygiene, housing and animal husbandry, as well as strict bio-security measures, rather than the prophylactic use of antibiotics;
