Notes that records, audio and video cassettes, CD-roms and interactive compact discs are cultural goods like books and that these goods must be accessible to consumers in order to protect both consumer's rights and musical and cultural production and calls therefore for the minimum tax to be extended to these products and for consideration be given to the possibility of reducing this tax at all stages of production;
8. fordert in Anbetracht der Tatsache, daß Schallplatten, Audio- und Videokassetten, CD-ROM und CDI auch Kulturgüter wie Bücher darstellen und daß diese Güter den Verbrauchern aus Gründen nicht nur des Verbraucherschutzes, sondern auch des Schutzes der musikalischen und kulturellen Produktion zugänglich sein müssen, daß der Mindeststeuersatz auf diese Erzeugnisse erweitert und die Möglichkeit der Verringerung dieser Steuer in allen Produktionsstufen geprüft wird;
