Two advisory boards have been set up: the project oversight board, chaired by the Director General of DG Budget, and composed of representatives of nine services, including the IAS and of the European Court of Auditors and the accounting standards committee, chaired by the Deputy Director General of DG budget and accountant of the Commission, Mr Brian Gray, member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, and includes as observers representatives of the IAS and the European Court of Auditors.
Zudem wurden zwei Beratungsgremien eingerichtet: das Gremium für Projektaufsicht unter Vorsitz des Generaldirektors der GD Haushalt, dem Vertreter aus neun Diensten (u.a. auch IAD und Europäischer Rechnungshof) angehören, und der Ausschuss für Rechnungsführungsstandards unter Vorsitz des Stellvertretenden Generaldirektors der GD Haushalt und Rechnungsführers der Kommission, Herrn Brian Gray, der dem Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales als Mitglied angehört; an den Sitzungen des Ausschusses für Rechnungsführungsstandards nehmen unter anderem Vertreter des IAD und des Europäischen Rechnungshofs als Beobachter teil.
