at the end of this Association Council, Mr MICHAELIDES, on behalf of Cyprus, and Mr BARNIER and Mr van den BROEK, on behalf of the European Community, signed the fourth Financial Protocol EC-Cyprus
covering the period ending 31st December 1998 with an aggregate amount of 74 million ECU which may be committed as follows : a) 50 million ECU in the form of loans from the European Investment Bank, from its own resources, b) 22 million ECU from the Comunity's budgetary resources, in the form of grants, c) 2 million ECU from the

Schließlich unterzeichneten Herr MICHAELIDES im Namen Zyperns sowie Herr BARNIER und Herr van den BROEK im Namen der Europäischen Gemeinschaft zum Abschluß dieser Tagung des Assoziationsrates das bis 31. Dezember 1998 geltende 4. Finanzprotokoll EG-Zypern über einen Gesamtbetrag von 74 Mio. ECU, der wie folgt bereitgestellt werden soll: a) 50 Mio. ECU in Form von Darlehen der Europäischen Investitionsbank aus deren eigenen Mitteln, b) 22 Mio. ECU aus Haushaltsmitteln der Gemeinschaft in Form von Zuschüssen, c) 2 Mio. ECU aus Haushaltsmitteln der Gemeinschaft in Form einer Beteiligung an der Bildung von Risikokapital.
