Through its eEurope 2005 Action Plan, [4] endorsed by the Sevilla European Council in June 2002, the Union has set itself the objective of providing a favourable environment for private investment and for the creation of new jobs, to boost productivity, to modernise public services and to give everyone the opportunity to participate in the global information society.
In ihrem Aktionsplan für eEurope 2005 [4], der vom Europäischen Rat in Sevilla im Juni 2002 verabschiedet wurde, hat sich die Europäische Union das Ziel gesetzt, ein für Privatinvestitionen und die Schaffung neuer Arbeitsplätze günstiges Umfeld zu gestalten, die Produktivität zu steigern, die öffentlichen Dienstleistungen zu modernisieren und jedermann die Möglichkeit zu geben, an der globalen Informationsgesellschaft teilzuhaben.
