Regrets that, on account of differences in approach between the Court of Auditors and the Commission on the issue of financial clearance, Parliament cannot assess with accuracy its impact on the legality and regularity of the underlying operations; notes that, according to the Court of Auditors, the results of the conformity audits were not sufficiently taken into account for the financial clearance decision; calls on the Commission and the Court of Auditors, in the context of the adversarial procedure, to reach agreement on the financial clearance procedure;
171. bedauert, dass das Parlament aufgrund der unterschiedlichen Ansätze des Rechnungshofs und der Kommission im Hinblick auf den Rechnungsabschluss dessen Auswirkung auf die Rechtmäßigkeit und Ordnungsmäßigkeit der zugrunde liegenden Vorgänge nicht genau bewerten kann; nimmt zur Kenntnis, dass die Ergebnisse der Konformitätsprüfung dem Rechnungshof zufolge bei der Rechnungsabschlussentscheidung nicht ausreichend berücksichtigt wurden; fordert die Kommission und den Rechnungshof auf, sich im Rahmen des kontradiktorischen Verfahrens auf das Rechnungsabschlussverfahren zu einigen;
