The aim of the amendment is to strengthen the provisions currently applied to prevent the spread of certain diseases (set out in list III of Annex A of the Directive, including Gyrodactylosis) in disease free regions, and to adapt certain provisions as regards the frequency of inspections and sampling and testing requirements for fish diseases to international standards.
Mit der Änderung wird bezweckt, die derzeit geltenden Vorschriften zu verschärfen, um die Verschleppung bestimmter Krankheiten (aufgeführt in Liste III des Anhangs A der Richtlinie, einschließlich der Gyrodactylose) in seuchenfreie Regionen zu verhüten und bestimmte Vorschriften in bezug auf die Häufigkeit der Kontrollen, die Probenahmen und die Untersuchungen auf Fischseuchen den internationalen Standards anzupassen.
