In addition a European Platform of Guidelines will be developed by JRC to host existing guidelines for other stages of breast cancer care beyond screening and diagnosis, covering treatment, rehabilitation, follow-up – including surveillance and, where necessary, pain management, and aspects such as psychological support and palliative care, which are essential for a patient-centred concept of quality.
