Die Kommission kann dazu folgende Fakten anfuehren: - durchschnittlich werden 60 % des Filmverleihs in Europa von amerikanischen Gesellschaften kontrolliert; - die europaeischen Vertriebswege fuer Videokassetten befinden sich zu 40 % in den Haenden aussereuropaeischer Firmen; - 1988 hat Europa Fernsehprogramme, insbesondere Fernsehfilme, im Wert von 700 Mio. Dollar in den Vereinigten Staaten eingekauft; - 1989 wurden 60 % der etwa 11.000 Sendestunden, in denen europaeische Fernsehsender in der Gemeinschaft Zeichentrickfilme ausstrahlen, mit japanischen Produktionen bestritten; nur 350 Sendestunden wurden durch europaeische Produktionen abgedeckt.
