Is it not, though, the neo-liberalisation of the Ivorian economy, the reduced prices for raw materials and the consequent impoverishment of the people, the way in which multinational companies openly set Ivorian neo-colonial factions against each other, that have enabled speeches about ‘ivoirité ’ to find an audience, and facilitated coups d'etat ?
Aber ist es nicht vielmehr dem Einzug des Neoliberalismus in die ivorische Wirtschaft, dem Rückgang der Rohstoffkurse und demzufolge der Verarmung der Bevölkerung, der Tatsache, dass transnationale Unternehmen die ivorischen neokolonialen Gruppierungen unverhohlene gegeneinander ausspielen, geschuldet, dass die Bevölkerung für das Gerede über die „Ivoirité“ aufnahmefähig gemacht und Staatsstreiche begünstigt wurden?
