V. whereas an escalating battle over oil storage depots and lifting ports is taking place in the oil-rich east of the country, which is home to the tenth-largest proven oil reserves in the world and the largest reserves in Africa; whereas 80 % of Libya’s GDP depends on its oil sector; whereas oil production stood at 1.6 million barrels per day (bpd) before the NATO intervention, with this figure then falling to less than 200 000 barrels per day, increasing to 800 000 bpd in October 2014, and now standing at around 350 000 bpd and likely to fall much lower;
V. in der Erwägung, dass der eskalierende Kampf um Öltanklager und Ölhäfen im ölreichen Osten des Landes stattfindet, in dem sich die zehntgrößten nachgewiesenen Ölreserven der Welt und die größten Reserven in Afrika befinden; in der Erwägung, dass 80 % des BIP Libyens vom Ölsektor abhängig sind; in der Erwägung, dass sich die Ölförderung vor der NATO-Intervention auf 1,6 Millionen Barrel pro Tag belief, dass diese Zahl dann auf weniger als 200 000 Barrel pro Tag gefallen ist, im Oktober 2014 auf 800 000 Barrel pro Tag anstieg und jetzt bei rund 350 000 Barrel pro Tag liegt und wahrscheinlich noch viel stärker sinken wird;
