2. Um die Umsetzung der Unionspolitik in den Bereichen Rechnungslegung und Abschlussprüfung zu unterstützen, deckt das Programm die Tätigkeiten folgender Einrichtungen ab: der IFRS Foundation, die über das IASB die IFRS ausarbeitet, der EFRAG, die im Rahmen des Anerkennungsverfahrens prüft, ob ein IFRS-Standard mit dem Bilanzrecht der Union vereinbar ist, und zur Ausarbeitung von Standards beiträgt, und des PIOB, das die internationalen Auditstandards und die berufsethischen Standards und Ausbildungsstandards für die Abschlussprüfer überwacht.
