6. Welcomes the establishment in June 2008 of the India-European Parliament Parliamentary Friendship Group, which will act within the Indian Parliament as a counterpart to the European Parliament Delegation for Relations with the Republic of India; expresses its strong hope that this initiative will lead to a substantive and meaningful dialogue between the two Parliaments on issues of global and common interest through regular bilateral visits and roundtable discussions, which will need to be adequately resourced;
6. begrüßt die im Juni 2008 erfolgte Gründung der parlamentarischen Freundschaftsgruppe Indien-Europäisches Parlament, die im indischen Parlament das Pendant zu der Delegation des Europäischen Parlaments für die Beziehungen zur Republik Indien darstellen wird; drückt seine starke Hoffnung aus, dass diese Initiative zu einem wesentlichen und bedeutenden Dialog zwischen den beiden Parlamenten führen wird, bei dem es um Themen von weltweitem und gemeinsamem Interesse geht, die im Rahmen regelmäßiger bilateraler Besuche und im Rahmen von Rundtischgesprächen erörtert werden, und für den ausreichende Mittel zur Verfügung stehen müssen;
