insists on the fact that the Lisbon Treaty has added territorial cohesion to the economic and social cohesion policy objective and questions the lack of reference to this territorial dimension, as well as to regions undergoing industrial change, and island, sparsely populated, mountainous or outermost regions in the EMPL committee report on the draft ESF regulation;
weist nachdrücklich darauf hin, dass mit dem Vertrag von Lissabon neben den Zielen des wirtschaftlichen und des sozialen Zusammenhalts der "territoriale Zusammenhalt" als Ziel der Kohäsionspolitik eingeführt wurde, und zeigt sich erstaunt darüber, dass im Bericht des EP-Ausschusses für Beschäftigung und soziale Angelegenheiten zum Entwurf der ESF-Verordnung nicht auf diese territoriale Dimension sowie auf Regionen im industriellen Wandel, Inseln, dünn besiedelte Gebiete, Berggebiete und Gebiete in äußerster Randlage hingewiesen wird;
