The SEA Directive has formal and explicit links with the Habitats and EIA Directives, but it is also closely linked to other directives (Water, Nitrates, Waste, Noise and Air Quality Directives[7]) which contain requirements for the establishment and assessment of PP in sectors covered by the SEA, and has relationship with the SEA Protocol[8].
Die SUP-Richtlinie stellt förmlich und ausdrücklich einen Zusammenhang her mit der FFH- und der UVP-Richtlinie; es besteht aber auch ein enger Zusammenhang mit anderen Richtlinien (Richtlinien über Wasser, Nitrat, Abfälle, Lärm und Luftqualität[7]), die Vorschriften für die Aufstellung und Prüfung von Plänen und Programmen in Sektoren vorsehen, die unter die SUP fallen, sowie mit dem SUP-Protokoll[8].
