Reduction in the surplus of productive capacity, rationalisation of the productive organisational and commercial structure with the the consequent reduction in fixed costs, concentrations of the portofolio on the "core" business of the base chemicals, polymers and elastomers, and therefore dismission of the other activities through sale or liquidation, both in order to cut the loss-making productions and to partly finance the restrucuturing programme through the income arising from the sale of some big profit-making subsidiaries are the main action lines envisaged by the plan.
Die in dem Plan vorgesehenen Hauptmaßnahmen sind: Abbau der überschüssigen Produktionskapazitäten, Rationalisierung der organisatorischen und kommerziellen Produktionsstruktur mit sich daraus ergebendem Abbau der Fixkosten, Portfolio-Konzentration auf das Hauptgeschäft der Grundchemikalien, Polymere und Elastomere und somit Aufgabe der anderen Tätigkeiten durch Verkauf oder Liquidation im Hinblick auf die Einstellung der Verluste verursachenden Produktion und zur teilweisen Finanzierung des Umstrukturierungsprogramms durch Einnahmen aus dem Verkauf einiger rentabler Tochtergesellschaften.
