Die Kommission, die der Gründung des Comité européen pour le rapprochement de l'économie et de la culture (CEREC), eine Vereinigung nationaler Verbände für das Kulturengagement von Unternehmen, den Anstoß gab, erwartet von dem Seminar in Madrid, dass Kultursponsoring in Europa, auch in seiner gemeinschaftlichen Dimension, mehr ins Bewusstsein rückt, und dass deutlich wird, was die Betroffenen - Unternehmen, Künstler, Museen - von der Gemeinschaft und den Mitgliedstaaten im Hinblick auf Besteuerung, stiftungsrechtliche Bestimmungen, Informationen über länderübergreifende Kulturprojekte usw., erwarten.
