2.2.4. The Commission will take appropriate steps, in close collaboration with the customs administrations and economic operators, to define statistical requirements and the data needed on the declaration, as well as other data needed to process operations, compile statistics and draw up risk profiles, and to organize national collection of such data and use it to compile statistics; introduction of the NCTS will, of course, make all of the above tasks considerably easier to carry out.
2.2.4. Die Kommission wird hierfür geeignete Maßnahmen treffen und bei der Festlegung des Statistikbedarfs, der vorgeschriebenen Angaben auf den Versandanmeldungen und der übrigen für die Verfahrensabwicklung, die Statistiken und die Risikoprofilerstellung nützlichen Angaben, sowie bei der Organisation der Datenerfassung auf nationaler Ebene und der statistischen Auswertung dieser Daten, die natürlich durch die Umstellung der Versandverfahren auf EDV (= NCTS) erleichtert wird, eng mit den Zollverwaltungen und den Wirtschaftsbeteiligten zusammenarbeiten.
