(8) The introduction of the e-Customs in 2011, by which documents supporting imports and exports are no longer kept by the customs administrations but by the economic operators, has led to delays in the conduct of European Anti-fraud Office (OLAF) investigations in the customs area, as OLAF needs the intermediation of these administrations to obtain such documents.
(8) Wegen der im Jahr 2011 erfolgten Einführung des elektronischen Zollverfahrens, welches vorsieht, dass Ein- und Ausfuhrunterlagen nicht mehr von den Zollbehörden, sondern von den Wirtschaftsteilnehmern aufbewahrt werden müssen, sind Verzögerungen bei den vom Europäischen Amt für Betrugsbekämpfung (OLAF) durchgeführten Untersuchungen im Zollbereich entstanden, da das OLAF die Hilfe dieser Behörden benötigt, um derartige Unterlagen einzuholen.
