(2) The application of standardised organisational processes and conditions under which laboratory studies are planned, performed, recorded and reported for the non-clinical testing of chemicals for the protection of man, animals and the environment, hereinafter referred to as "good laboratory practice" (GLP), contributes to the reassurance of Member States as to the quality of the test data generated.
(2) Die Anwendung genormter organisatorischer Verfahren und Bedingungen, unter denen Laboruntersuchungen für die nichtklinische Prüfung von Chemikalien zum Schutz des Menschen, der Tiere und der Umwelt geplant, durchgeführt, aufgezeichnet und mitgeteilt werden - so genannte Gute Laborpraxis (GLP) -, trägt dazu bei, den Mitgliedstaaten Gewissheit hinsichtlich der Qualität der gewonnenen Prüfdaten zu verschaffen.
