Among these Directives are the setting of energy efficiency standards for domestic boilers using either oil or gas and the labelling of domestic appliances. Moreover, the Council passed the above-mentioned framework Directive which contains six individual measures, including energy audits in industry, periodic inspection of boilers, the promotion of third party financing in the public sector, the setting of insulation standards, heat metering and energy certification of buildings.
Außerdem verabschiedete der Rat die obengenannte Rahmenrichtlinie, die sechs Einzelrichtlinien umfaßt: über Energieaudits in der Industrie, regelmäßige Inspektion von Heizkesseln, die Förderung der Finanzierung von Energieeinsparaktionen im öffentlichen Sektor durch Dritte, die Festlegung von Normen für die Isolierung, die Wärmemessung und den Energieausweis von Gebäuden.
