Der Beginn des Aufpralls (T0) ist nach der ISO-Norm 17 373:2005 für einen Beschleunigungswert von 0,5 g festgelegt. Die Gesamtmasse von Prüfschlitten, Fahrzeugstruktur und Ballast darf in keinem Fall um mehr als ± 40 kg von der für Kalibrierprüfungen festgelegten Nennmasse abweichen.
