(c)‘law enforcement authority’ means any authority in a third country responsible for preventing, detecting, investigating, combating and punishing criminal offences, including, but not limited to, the police, any prosecutor, any judicial authority, any public or private prison authority and, where appropriate, any of the state security forces and military authorities.
c)„Strafverfolgungs-/Vollzugsbehörde“ jede Behörde in einem Drittland, die für die Verhütung, Aufdeckung, Ermittlung, Bekämpfung und Verfolgung von Straftaten zuständig ist, unter anderem, aber nicht ausschließlich, Polizei, Staatsanwaltschaft, Justizbehörden, öffentliche oder private Strafvollzugsbehörden sowie gegebenenfalls staatliche Sicherheitskräfte und militärische Behörden.
