Even in a globalised world, in which some experts see the axis shifting from the west towards the powers of the east, I am still firmly convinced that the EU-US relationship is pivotal to stability, growth and prosperity, not only on both sides of the Atlantic, but throughout the world.
Ich bin der festen Überzeugung, dass selbst in der globalisierten Welt, in der einige Experten eine Verschiebung der Achse vom Westen zu den Mächten im Osten sehen, die EU-USA-Beziehung zentral ist für Stabilität, Wachstum und Wohlstand, nicht nur für beide Seiten des Atlantiks, sondern für die ganze Welt.
