„Ist das Mutterunternehmen im Sinne des Artikels 260 selbst Tochterunternehmen einer Versicherungsholdinggesellschaft oder einer gemischten Finanzholdinggesellschaft, die ihren Sitz in einem Drittland hat, oder eines Drittlandsversicherungs- oder -rückversicherungsunternehmens, so nehmen die Mitgliedstaaten die Überprüfung nach Artikel 260 nur auf der Ebene des obersten Mutterunternehmens vor, das eine Drittlandsversicherungsholdinggesellschaft, eine gemischte Drittlandsfinanzholdinggesellschaft, ein Drittlandsversicherungsunternehmen oder ein Drittlandsrückversicherungsunternehmen ist.
