For the purposes of point (a) of the first subparagraph, grant applications may be eligible if submitted by entities which do not have legal personality under the applicable national law, provided that their representatives have the capacity to undertake legal obligations on behalf of the entity and offer guarantees for the protection of the Union's financial interests equivalent to those offered by legal persons.
Für die Zwecke von Unterabsatz 1 Buchstabe a können Finanzhilfeanträge von Einrichtungen, die nach dem geltenden nationalen Recht keine Rechtspersönlichkeit besitzen, zulässig sein, sofern ihre Vertreter befugt sind, im Namen der Einrichtung rechtliche Verpflichtungen einzugehen und Bürgschaften zum Schutz der finanziellen Interessen der Union anzubieten, die denen gleichstehen, die von juristischen Personen angebotenen werden.
