The Commission considers that the refusal of the Irish authorities to allow the direct reimbursement of costs incurred by individuals who purchase medical appliances in other Member States is not necessary for, or proportionate to, the safeguarding of the proper functioning and financial solvency of the Irish social security system.
Die Kommission ist der Auffassung, dass die Weigerung der irischen Behörden, die Kosten für den Kauf medizinischer Produkte in anderen Mitgliedstaaten direkt zu erstatten, keine notwendige oder verhältnismäßige Maßnahme zur Gewährleistung des Funktionierens und des finanziellen Gleichgewichts des irischen Sozialversicherungssystems ist.
