Calls on the Commission and Member States to negotiate on systems by means of which it would be possible, in accordance with the principles of legal deposit law, to ensure the gathering, preservation and cataloguing of material produced multinationally and internationally both in the respective countries and in Europe, irrespective of the form of the material;
13. ersucht die Kommission und die Mitgliedstaaten, über Organisationsformen zu beraten, durch die auf der Grundlage der Prinzipien der Freiexemplarbestimmung in jedem Land, aber auch auf europäischer Ebene, die Sammlung, Erhaltung und Katalogisierung von multinational und international hergestelltem Material unabhängig von seiner äußeren Form gewährleistet werden kann;
