– (ES) Herr Präsident, Baroness Ashton, ich freue mich sehr, dass die Vorgehensweise der Hohen Vertreterin für die Außen- und Sicherheitspolitik ein zweigleisiger Ansatz der praktisch gleichberechtigten Erörterung von Menschenrechten und der Atomfrage ist, denn der Iran, eingetaucht in Demokratiereformprozesse und geleitet von den legitimen Demokratiebestrebungen seiner Menschen, ist der Welt und den ihn umgebenden Ländern ein widersprüchliches Beispiel dafür, was diese für sich selbst nicht wünschen, und dies wird von uns in dem morgen möglicherweise angenommenen Bericht angeprangert.
