Stresses that net neutrality, in line with a best-effort Internet and the non-discriminatory access to and transmission of all audiovisual content, guarantees a pluralist supply of information and a diversity of opinion and culture, and therefore represents a key element analogous to the ‘must-carry’ principle of the converged media landscape; calls on the Commission, therefore, to ensure, in a legally binding manner, compliance with the principles of internet neutrality, since this is vital where media convergence is concerned;
6. betont, dass Netzneutralität im Sinne eines „Best-Effort“-Internets und der diskriminierungsfreie Zugang und die Durchleitung aller audiovisuellen Inhalte ein pluralistisches Informationsangebot sowie Meinungsvielfalt und kulturelle Vielfalt garantieren und damit wesentlicher Bestandteil des „Must-carry“-Prinzips der konvergenten Medienwelt sind; fordert die Kommission daher auf, die Einhaltung der Grundsätze der Internetneutralität, die vor dem Hintergrund der Konvergenz der Mediendienste unerlässlich ist, rechtsverbindlich sicherzustellen;
